The demand for sustainable buildings will increase based on economic drivers as well as comfort and accessibility. The unique value of our solution enables a guided process flow to ensure transparency for homeowners. Our goal of the platform is to improve the efficiency and sustainability of the renovation process and new residential real estate development through earlier and closer cooperation with the end-users.
We want to design a system where people with 100% certainty can design, buy buildings before they are built. By doing that we would have created a system that would support long term thinking in the decision making process and practice inclusion by allowing each community member to have a say in what environment he would like to live in.
Sustainability is part of CUBED’s mission and the activities of the platform demonstrate a focus to impact all stages of the building's lifecycle. The platform features dynamic energy system scoping for the whole building and includes sustainability reports based on design & layout. This is achieved by an automated co-design process that introduces embedded energy system requirements for each of the apartments. Our frontier knowledge of wood-structure buildings, insulation materials, and design rule check will limit carbon footprint compared to buildings based on conventional concrete materials. The platforms will also feature retrofitting layers to renovation projects with the use of prefabricated facade modules. The expected result will provide an overall Co2 footprint regarding each client’s decisions as well as model Co2 footprint for the whole building.
Factories, Real Estate Developers, Buyers, Investors, Banks, Architects, Interior designers, Realtors/real estate Agents, and municipalities were interviewed and we built a solid knowledge foundation about key problems in residential real estate development. Thanks to municipalities we allocated the most important regions which are missing new condos and what are key uncertainties for development in main cities. As for other participants, we concluded the problems of customer flow and communication process between different involved units.
