    EasyFootings - ecological micropile foundations, reusable, without excavation and the use of concret
    EasyFootings® is a new, sustainable and innovative category of foundation technology created out of concern for the environment based on a circular economy. It is distinguished by cost competitiveness, the possibility of repeated use and the reduction of CO2 by 80% due to the lack of concrete, the production of which is very emission-intensive. After all, we all want sustainable solutions to the challenges of population growth, urbanization, climate change and resource depletion.

  • Description of the project
    EasyFootings® wants to influence the reduction of consumerism by creating long-lived things - even creating a new category of them. EasyFootings® is not only a brand of foundations, but a completely new concept. EasyFootings® designs scalable and ready-to-use prefabricated micropile foundations. We are passionate about the environment and sustainable design. EasyFootings® is the first foundation designed and manufactured in accordance with the principles of the circular economy, so that after the end of its life cycles on the investment, the product can be disassembled and recycled up to 100% or, preferably, reinstalled. EasyFootings® proposes a more sustainable way of living as part of its design. We have reduced embodied carbon - up to 19% compared to traditional concrete versions of foundations. Manufacturer of an innovative micropile foundation system - micropile footings instead of concrete foundations. EasyFootings® modular innovation in foundation: 95% of the foundation investment is made in a modern, automated factory and 95% faster than traditional methods with a 50% cost reduction. Design and precision of construction are also our priority.

    What does the world need now?
    Global megatrends provide an excellent basis for the future expansion of EADSYFOOTINGS. They offer many long-term opportunities because everyone around the world wants the same thing: sustainable solutions to the challenges of population growth, urbanization, climate change and resource depletion. Growing consumption highlights the need for responsibility. Manufacturing needs to move away from dwindling fossil resources to renewable and recyclable and preferably reusable raw materials like our EasdyFootings® foundations. In the coming years, EASYFOOTINGS will continue to rely on its four foundations: efficiency, development, innovation and responsible actions. We can increase our income in two ways: by improving cost competitiveness or by increasing sales. In the latter case, new, innovative development projects, which we focus on, are of key importance.
    EASYFOOTINGS develops and designs the innovative EasyFootings® foundation systems for construction, which include highly efficient prefabricated steel structures that are highly durable and designed to withstand loads even from earthquakes and landslides while being environmentally friendly at every level through the possibility of their multiple use and longevity, which is unique in the industry. The load-bearing capacity of each foundation module allows single and multi-level construction, economically and safely, while meeting all international building codes and standards. The manufacturing process provides a complete turnkey solution. EASYFOOTINGS manufactures in accordance with the highest CE standards.
    Like tree roots, our EasyFootings® foundations transfer the load of the structure to a larger area of the ground through micro piles. They lock together at an angle, preventing them from moving up and down under load. The system is frost resistant. The bearing forces distributed over the pyramid-shaped micro piles distribute the load over a larger area of structurally intact soil. Each of our projects follows the principles of the circular economy, which requires products and materials to be used for as long as possible and even many times. This does not generate waste or pollution and allows you to recreate the natural environment.

    The EasyFootings® project was created because innovation is at the heart of our strategy because new products and technological progress create opportunities for development and environmental protection. In particular, our goal is to invest in projects that offer attractive long-term foundations for profitability and growth, as well as opportunities to achieve a sustainable competitive advantage that meets zero waste requirements. The path of innovation from the initial idea through research and development to a successful market launch is a long road full of challenges and requires the cooperation of many people and institutions involved in this process. The key element common to those involved was the high level of knowledge required to produce such high-quality products and their ecological commitment. In the case of such specialized building materials, EASYFOOTINGS has developed an advanced production technology than competitors in the industry, which resulted in gaining a leading position in the market of long-lived, reusable foundations. In the segment of our production, we have a lot of our own knowledge and protected intellectual property rights, which our competitors cannot match. We are the first company in the EU that has developed a process for the production and application of such foundations.
    As part of our partnership with many companies from the EU, Israel, and the USA, through the exchange or development of practices and methods, as well as the exchange and discussion of ideas, it has led to the development, transfer, and implementation of innovative practices, as well as to the implementation of joint initiatives promoting cooperation, mutual learning and exchange of experiences. The results of our activities and experiences on the project are likely to be shared at local, regional, national, and transnational levels.
    By undertaking partnership cooperation, we have improved the quality of our work, activities, and practices. This allowed us to open up to new entities and build transnational organizational capabilities and enable changes leading to improvements and new approaches to solving problems.
    Planning, designing, and implementing is a very important aspects of managing new projects - which has taught us a lot. Most of the problems arising in the implementation phase of projects are caused by improper or even lack of planning of the course of projects. It can be observed that, especially in conditions of risk and uncertainty, organizations do not take actions aimed at preparing actions or taking them in a highly ineffective way in a turbulent, changing environment. The EasyFootings® project has significantly expanded our knowledge in the field of project management and can be a model for every well-conducted research and design work in cooperation with many specialists, constructors, studios, and institutions. As a result of the implementation of the EasyFootings® project, we have made progress: both in material science - including the development of new products, new concepts, and new services. In order for projects to be an effective tool for shaping the future, they must apply professional principles, proven in practice. One such principle is the principle of action preparation based on;

    Effective and efficient implementation of projects, consisting in delivering the desired project result at a certain quality level, on time, and within the assumed budget, is an extremely difficult task. This is due to the characteristics of the projects.
    Our goal was to demonstrate that the sustainable development promoted by the European Green Deal can be inclusive and create beautiful and high-quality experiences for people, everyday life, and in local communities across Europe. We have achieved the expected results in line with the European Green Deal.
    We launched a flexible and long-lived, zero-waste, circular product that is climate-resilient, reduces product lifecycle costs, and paves the way toward more sustainable buildings. A product that meets high environmental standards throughout its life cycle, ahead of the targets of EU legislation for preparing for the re-use and recycling of construction and demolition waste and its material fractions.

    When creating a new product, we created its vision, i.e. a short description describing its meaning, idea, purpose, target group, etc.

    Then we moved on to the planning phase. In addition to setting goals and tasks, organizing, motivating, controlling, planning covered various perspectives, various aspects, e.g. the purpose and subject of planning, time range, detail, etc.
    In order to perform some complex action, we had to know and apply the right way to perform it, which consisted of information about:
    • the desired result of the action,
    • rules for implementing the action,
    • the composition of the activity, i.e. its division into component activities,
    • action system, ie linking its component activities: logical, temporal, spatial, • a set of means of implementing individual component activities of the action (contractors, equipment, materials, financial resources, etc.).
    We had to control all processes:
    • initiating processes
    • planning processes
    • executing processes
    • monitoring and control processes (monitoring)
    • closing processes
    The positive impact of professional planning on the success of a given project is also confirmed by scientific research.
    The aspect of the methodology used by EASYFOOTINGS can be successfully replicated and transferred to other groups of beneficiaries. The vision of the product should be synthetic, able to be presented during a short conversation, but also attractive and eye-catching. Instead of the traditional planning approach of defining, sequencing, timing, and scheduling, we used incremental, iterative product development by scheduling work based on current priorities. This allowed the project to evolve while remaining under control. We put off making decisions until the last reasonable moment. In our project, the hypothesis was verified during the work, hence the frequent modifications of plans and replanning every day until the assumed result was achieved. As the effort put into quality planning, communication, team and assessment planning as well as risk management planning increased, so did the frequency and scope of planning changes.
