  • Description of the initiative
The porpose is to create Seniors workshops that explore the creative and artistic brain side focused on education for recycling, exploration of creativity, social support, reading and that, due to their scope, promote conviviality, combating isolation while educating for sustainability, social responsibility , educational socialization, cognitive development, fine motor skills, art, among others.

In each workshop to create a Frooks, you will need to find your book, choose your match while reading it, work the book to highlight it, apply several art tecnicques to dress up and in the phase out to enclose and frame promoting social interaction and combating loneliness and isolation. All these with our homemade garbage.

The objective of these senior workshops, which are of a very relative degree of difficulty and of a very comprehensive degree of creativity, is to explore various dimensions of intervention (painting, cutting, spraying, craving, collage, reading, etc.) several possibilities for reusing the materials we have in our home that are apparently garbage, but can be much more to the relevance.

From the cream caps, to the kids' phones, to the MAC box, to the old tray, everything was a pretext and opened the mind to the reuse and recycling of common materials in good condition and giving them a different use. Another way to reuse…

… in favor of our sustainability and that can be much more than the differentiation of waste and that the process itself can be a pleasant surprise and addictive too.
