Purpose
Increasing social cohesion, and interaction between school youth, the community, and other institutions in the area such as health centers, religious centers, local government, etc., through Voluntary Service.
The village of Guci e Re is a village with a relatively poor population, about 70% of the families are treated with economic assistance and the families come from deep mountainous areas, which together with themselves have brought a great cultural diversity. This village has about 1500 inhabitants. Public spaces in the village do not exist. The entire population, without exception, does not have a place where they can sit together, discuss, etc.
The only institution in the village of Guci e Re that offers various community services is the "Ismet Sali Brucaj" school. In recent years, the school has often taken community initiatives..'
Our village is at a considerable distance from the city of Shkoder, and public transport to the city does not operate at all after 14:00. This means that residents who do not have private cars cannot access the city of Shkoder in an easy and accessible way. students who attend secondary schools do not have the opportunity to attend extracurricular courses due to the distance, as well as young people who are not in school or employed. Also, it is very difficult for parents of students and pensioners to go to the city near the centers of services for a certificate or to photocopy for free because it takes time and travel costs.
The students of the school do not have any computers where they can normally develop the Technology classes and develop digital competencies.
With the creation of a serviced office, many of these obstacles would disappear.
Development of learning in appropriate conditions.
Development of young capacities.
Quality time through learning,coding
High digital skills.
Community service
• To mobilize actors in the service of the community
• Creation of a service office within the school premises with the necessary tools for access to technology for all community groups:
- School-age
- Young men and women who are in high school
- Young people who have finished high school and are unemployed (to have the opportunity to take different courses, etc.)
-Elderly people who cannot go to the city to receive services (how to photocopy different materials, etc.)
Activities and steps to achieve the project goal:
-Finding a room near the school that we can use as office space and be under supervision all the time.
This will be done in cooperation with the school directorate, the teaching staff, and the youth group.
- Presentation of the project to different community groups (parents, young people, teenagers, school students, health centers, religious communities, etc.).
This will be done by the student government group together with their leaders through direct meetings, online groups, and leaflets.
- Finding partners, and parents who know the field of Technology for installing computers and other tools.
This will be done by the student's parents
Sensitizing the youth of the community to attend our service hall.
This will be carried out in cooperation with the Shkoder Local Education Office, Shkoder Municipality (where the use of the school facilities after school hours has been discussed in advance) with the school directorate, the staff of teachers, and the youth group
-Finding suitable tables and chairs for computers. This will be done in cooperation with the school directorate, the teaching staff, and the youth group.
For the purchase of eight computer sets, we applied for a mini-grant from the organization World Vision Albania
- The project is closely related to the needs of our school. Each of the objectives is based on these needs:
-Obstacles we encounter in obtaining various services (computer courses, how to write a CV, how to draft a letter of interest for various jobs)
- Due to the lack of ICT materials, school students are unable to practice ICT and Foreign Language.
- The young people of the village rarely have a place where they can get help by learning computer programs, drafting a CV or letter of interest, but also where they can put into practice their ability to help others Norms of solidarity and reciprocity, which they are essential for our communities, they are not developed to the right extent .
- The community is not motivated enough to be closer to the school, knowing the importance of the services it is offering. Many of them have to go to the city to receive some services that they can get near the service office in their village.
To achieve the implementation of this community project, the school is based on:
LAW No. 18/2017 ON THE RIGHTS AND PROTECTION OF THE CHILD
Article 6 Application of the best interest of the child
Article 20 The right to an adequate standard of living
LAW No. 75/2019 FOR YOUTH Article 16 Financing of youth policies, programs and projects
The school as a community center
FIELD: COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT
Standard 4: Funding of courses offered to the community and by the community Indicators:
• The school cooperates with parents to find ways of financing extracurricular courses.
• The school cooperates with parents to offer extracurricular courses at no cost.
• The school cooperates with agencies/organizations and businesses to provide community participants and students with courses according to their needs.
• The school creates mechanisms for continuous communication with agencies/organizations and businesses to have successful coordination.
• The school supports young talents.
• The interaction between the youth and the community will be great. This experience will help them by promoting greater trust between them, the students, and the community by developing norms of solidarity and reciprocity, which are essential for our communities.
• The community will be motivated to be closer to the school knowing the importance of the services it is offering. Many of them will not need to go to the city to receive some services that they can get near the school office.
• The young people of the village will find a place where they can get help by learning computer programs, drafting a CV or letter of interest, but also where they can apply their skills to help others.
The school will be seen in a different way, not as a cold institution that only serves them
to its students but as a warm and friendly place for the whole community.
Knowing that in our community we have many people who cannot get the right services due to being alone, due to health problems, due to the lack of resources and different possibilities to go to the city

The fields of knowledge that are being implemented in the project are related to digital competence. This competence relies on basic techniques to find, create, exchange information, communicate, and create social networks on the Internet. During the last year, students also participate in various coding competitions.
Students are able to interact with their peers but also with adults, using digital media. The safety of students is also of great importance, therefore, in order to meet the criteria for digital competence, students must be able to stay safe on the Internet. This was achieved by the increased care of teachers and the training of family members. In addition to other skills as young people, they have also acquired the development of self-awareness and awareness about globalization and different cultural diversities, including interaction with students from other cultures.
100 students are developing their education in an appropriate way.
30 students are participating in coding competitions.
The digital skills of 100 students and 16 teachers have increased a lot.
The interaction between young people and the community is very great
This experience has helped foster greater trust between teachers, students, and the community by developing norms of solidarity and reciprocity that are essential to our communities.
The community is motivated to be closer to the school and is receiving services at our school.
Young people have a place where they can get knowledge by learning computer programs, and drafting a CV or letter of interest, but also where they can apply their skills to help others.
This space that we have created with computer materials will allow us to realize:
Computer courses for young girls

We are also cooperating with non-governmental organizations for the organization of computer courses by learning its basic programs, so they can become skilled and perhaps aspire for work in the future.
We are teaching young people to write CVs or Letters of interest for application
(This group is supposed to include the category of young people who are of an age to work, they have a great desire to know and enter the labor market, but the possibility of the information on the ways of employment is low.
