  • Description of the initiative
Europe undergoes an energy and climate crisis. Both are addressed by growing and building with industrial hemp in a community of people taking action for maximum change. Hempcreteyurt can be a symbol of a new era to respect oil much more.

Industrial hemp is super effective both for Climate and Energy topics, yet boldly underutilized. It needs to become mainstream to help humanity re-balance Earth's carbon cycle. Building hempcreteyurts will create living symbols of this initiative globally.
Hempcrete locks CO2 in the building walls and allows the building industry to higly reduce CO2 emissions, also by reducing energy to heat/cool buildings. Walls also allow new means of finishing from plasterint to paints and tile alternatives such as tadelakt.
Hempcreteyurts will be shared via voluntary biulding opportinities, and shared to enable everybody to learn and build their hemp buildings - so we all can contribute to building a healthier Planet.
Everyone building with hemp will be able to reduce home running costs, energy and thereby CO2 emissions. Plus lock more CO2 in the buildings. I also intend to work out a scheme to provide carbon credits to hempcrete builders
I have been messaging about this initiative to many people globally. It is a very personal note that both my granddads have lost their first wife and a baby. Hempcreteyurt became my heart's cause when my family separated and I pursue it to leave a healthier Planet to next generations.
In progress: initiative involves farming, machinery production, shared use and maintenance, building and energy industries, carbon credits/finance, etc
Symbols drive change. Circles stand for collaboration. Participation and action is key for impact. Hempcreteyirt is all this shared across the globe from the old Continent.
We will work as a community sharing our work for the benefit of all - and Planet. This includes cross-industrial best practices, youth building camps so children get a feeling of playfully building shelters.
I intend focusing on building and purchasing industrial hemp shives from a small radius circle farmer. Aim reducing concrete use for base to minimize CO2.Then a wooden structure and hempcrete walls. For details pls see the Gallery on https://hempcreteyurt.com
Climate actions best driven locally by individuals and communities across the globe. Building best insulated natural homes. The third millennia might re-invent the wheel in hempcreteyurts?
Hempcreteyurt was nominated to XPRIZE Carbon Removal. The idea needs funding to lead the change. And build a healthy home to my child, as i gave all in to this idea - and ended up pushing this collaboration.
Promoting nature: natural building. Acting for sustainability: collective action Envisioning sustainable futures.
