I use a lot of different colored sleeping bags, which will be a ray of hope in the monotonous Berlin winter. Gradually and in the actual environment of the site, a conscious design will be placed on that square. At the beginning of the coldest New Year, integration into the everyday life of the city portends integration, empathy. The hope is to provide more food for thought and put people into the real and urgent experience of homelessness.

Description of the concept
Please provide a summary of your concept.
Since I have been living in Germany, I have been trying to help, observe and understand beggars and homeless people in European countries for many years. In contrast to the disappearance of beggars and homeless people in Chinese society, the situation of this group in Europe has changed considerably in terms of numbers, composition, quality of life and living conditions under the influence of epidemics and war. Especially in Berlin, the number of beggars and homeless people on the streets has increased in the last two years. As one of the most sensitive and marginalised groups in society, they deserve more attention and help from society.
The rows of small, colourful buildings in front of the quay in Bergen's old town in Norway are a unique feature of the city. The colourful island of Burano in Venice, Italy, is popular with tourists for its colourful little houses. I use lots of different coloured sleeping bags, which will be a bright spot in the drab Berlin winter. This installation will be exhibited and presented at Boxhagenerplatz. After and in the actual surroundings of the site, a deliberate design will be placed on this square. At the beginning of the coldest New Year, the integration into the everyday living space of the city indicates integration, empathy. The hope is to provide more food for thought and put people in the real and urgent experience of homelessness. After this installation, I will donate the 50 sleeping bags to the beggars and homeless in Berlin. I hope that through this action and this artwork I can give a little warmth to the beggars and homeless in this cold winter, and I also hope that more and more people will give help and attention to this group.

In connection with the energy crisis, a serious epidemic, a possible food crisis as a result of the Russian-Ukrainian war and a humanitarian crisis, the number of beggars and homeless people on the streets of Berlin is increasing. They live under bridges, at underground entrances and on street corners. It is a scene you can see everywhere. They are like squirrels collecting pine cones in autumn and in the slightly warmer days of autumn they start collecting more winter clothes, old mattresses, thick quilts, broken tents and sleeping bags in all colours. We are all confronted with this difficult winter, and they are no exception.
The art project is sustainable and will be exhibited in three to five public spaces in Berlin, with several related public events in different parts of the city. The project aims to have a better impact and get more people to participate and think about the beggars and homeless in Berlin.
This is currently a socially significant art project and after the event in Berlin, I will make a personal donation to the beggars and homeless in Berlin and also donate all the proceeds from the art project. If possible, I will continue to care for the beggars and homeless in Berlin and help them to survive and live.

SHE7TER consists of seven groups of roofs, without the usual walls, windows and doors and without the ornate decorations of the individual groups of roofs. The roofs symbolise the house. The house serves as a home for the body and in a certain sense as a living space for the spirit, i.e. the house is the home.
I chose the simplest round ridge roof to express the idea of a figurative house, so practicality must take precedence over aesthetics. There are no walls to keep out mud, rain or snow, no quality wooden floors to walk barefoot on, no fireplaces to provide warmth and romance, and not even a small light to brighten the night. Everything is kept simple, but it is only a prototype of a house, not fully functional. The abstract concept of "home" is only conveyed by the representative structure of the roof of the house. It is also a representation of the homelessness of the beggars, with the sky as a ceiling and the earth as a bed, and their imagination and longing for the simplest "home" in their minds.
The shape of this roof and the floor of the public space form a stable triangle that gives a feeling of security and stability. Everyone has a different idea of home, and even beggars and homeless people have different ideas of what home should be. Soft sleeping bags are placed on the thin wooden roof trusses, just as bricks and tiles are placed on the beams of a house. This simple "home" provides some protection from the cold. However, the double roof is not as luxurious as the quadruple roof, and the open pattern on both sides is a symbol of the group's freedom and mobility.

SHELTER: to protect yourself, or another person or thing, from bad weather, danger, or attack.58 The "7" is like a roof that has fallen over, a mirror image of the letter "L", which I have inserted into the word shelter to convey that the roof has fallen over. German society, be it state organisations, social welfare organisations or individuals, is open, inclusive and inclusive towards beggars and homeless people, despite the undeniable help and care they provide. But when it comes to real people, it is an extremely closed world in every detail, it is cold statistics, it is hypocritical and sensationalist media coverage, it is an outlet for people to vent their frustrations about injustice, it is the illusion of prosperity, it is an illusory utopia, it is the dirt in the depths of harmony. It may never have accepted these people in the world from the bottom of its heart and treated them with kindness, never experienced and understood their pain from the bottom of its heart, never engaged with them and thought about their difficulties and hardships. So my SHE7TER is an illusion, a reflection, which does not solve the problem of PROTECTION on a practical level.
