Explanation:
Entanglement is an air purifier made out of tubes with spirulina Algae.
The air is pumped inside the tube and comes out purified. This is thanks to the photosynthesis process.
Spirulina is not an alga is a Cyanobacteria.
Since the beginning of the world, spirulina was one of the first organisms to populate our planet.
And we think that 80% of the oxygen we are breathing right now comes from Algae and Cyanobacteria.

Entanglement is the prototype of a new air purification filter to be inserted in indoor
environments.
The device is composed of tubes with spirulina inside, capable of purifying the air in a totally natural way. The prototype was conceived by Jonathan Bocca inside the Fabrica Research Centre (Treviso, Italy), with the support of engineers and biologists, in order to optimize its operation.
The structure is 2.5 meters high and is composed of 10 tubes that contain spirulina algae, each tube contains 2 litres of living spirulina.
Spirulina is not an alga is a Cyanobacteria, with the ability to reproduce in any environment we suppose that since the beginning of the world spirulina was one of the first organisms that populate our planet. Also, 80% of the oxygen that right now we are breathing is coming from Algae and Cyanobacteria.
The filter wants to make people reflect, that in the future we should try to imagine a space of real coexistence where the person and another organism can live in symbiosis.
We can improve our future thanks to human technology and nature.

Indoor pollution is greater than outdoor one.
Entanglement will be a symbol of how humans, architecture and nature can live together in the same spaces, benefiting each other. Entanglement is an air purifier made out of tubes with spirulina Algae inside: the air is pumped inside the tube and comes out purified.
This process is possible thanks to the photosynthesis. Rarely in design the needs of the material are taken into account, before human ones. Together with the factory team and a group of biologists, it was possible to understand, for example, the temperature needed for the life of spirulina, how many times it needs to be oxygenated, what kind of nutrition it needs, the pH of the water etc ...
In addition, the operation of Entanglement is made possible thanks to the use of solar panels that will avoid electricity consumption.
Entanglement is the encounter between a constantly evolving world and the need to find a new way of approaching natural ecosystems, in an innovative way.
Entanglement aims to be not just a device but an experience for people. Those who come into contact with Entanglement will be constantly put back in contact with nature, simply by observing its functioning, transparent to the eyes of the observer. The device, however, does not renounce a new concept of design, focused on green and the use of renewable materials.
I imagine Entanglement inserted for example in the refreshment point of an office, capable of transmitting positive emotions to the various employees (as we all know, nature has a positive effect on people's well-being).
It can be inserted inside different types of homes, thanks to its modularity and ease of use. It allows adaptation to any type of surface or space.
Entanglement was created precisely for this reason, to be a device within everyone's reach, to make available to anyone the possibility of breathing clean air by optimizing the available space. It is all based on the use of natural and renewable sources, present anywhere in the world.
It is often thought that the greatest innovations happen first in economically developed countries, but this is not the goal of entanglement. Obviously, the cost of implementation is very low and I believe that it is right to give priority to the realization of this device in very poor parts of the world, which at the same time suffer from a different degree of pollution.
Undoubtedly bringing entanglement within society will not be such a fast process, but it is the way I imagine the societies of the future.
Air pollution is the main environmental health risk in Europe, it is associated with heart disease, stroke, lung disease or lung cancer.
People's health and well-being are closely linked to the state of the environment. So why not insert into people's lives a device capable of guaranteeing its quality?
Needless to say, entanglement responds to the needs of humanity, preventing different inconveniences that could afflict people due to poor air quality.
Stakeholders should be interested in the project because we can no longer turn a blind eye to the future that lies ahead. The project is extremely cheap, and it is completely natural: with little money, stakeholders could help create a significant turning point in human history. We are not talking about money but about the responsibility we have towards the next generations.
Joining the project also brings large companies a great value of "corporate social responsibility", demonstrating that the company is close to sensitive issues for society. Each person who invests in Entanglement will invest in a product that will be able to solve a problem and will also have the option of receiving a filter when the project is ready for the market. Every investor will know that if the air we breathe in the future is clean it is thanks to those who have chosen to act for our good I am sure that the main ones interested in the project will be the most innovative and young people/institutions, with the ability to have a complex and complete vision of the world.
I trust above all in the new generation of start-ups and entrepreneurs who with a small investment will have as profit the most precious thing that has ever been given to us: the well-being of the world.
Entanglement is the fusion of social needs, technological innovations, taste for design and organic culture.
To develop the prototype, it was necessary the union of creative minds such as those of the designers but also the support of the scientific community such as engineers and bio-logicians to optimize operation.
It is a transverse project, capable of uniting various aspects of reality and educating a new
generation of humans. The dream is to create a new approach to life, creating a collective
consciousness capable of evaluating different aspects when thinking about an innovation, in whatever field it is.
Our goal was to make a machine that could run completely autonomously, without the necessity of electricity.
For this, we developed a solar-powered system that was self-regulated by a timer that
would scan its power on and off. The prototype needs neither power nor frequent maintenance, plus the on and off times can be set from the phone app that connects to the timer.
The innovative character lies in the new look to the future, a rethinking of the concept of
architecture. Green infrastructures are designed as living organisms with their own beating heart inside: entanglement. All other air purification systems have never considered transmitting a message and trying to solve the problem from its origin. They remain hidden and act without anyone noticing. Entanglement instead remains in front of us, apparently as a mere decoration, but without hiding its real purpose. Entanglement is not only an air purification device, but it is a vector of values and new goals for a new generation of humans.
The Project, as I have already said, is applicable to different environments, thanks to its
modularity. Its size can be resized to the place where it is placed and obviously proportionate to the amount of air to be purified.
I dream of an entanglement in every school, anywhere in the world, so that children understand the value of nature and our close connection to it for our survival, but above all, they learn to respect it given its importance.
I dream of an Entanglement in any hotel lobby, to ensure people have the best possible experience.
I dream of an Entanglement in any office, to create common spaces of conviviality and
lightheartedness in a world that forces us to never stop. I dream of an entanglement that is reality.
Pollution has always been everyone's and nobody's problem. For years we have been hearing about the worsening of people's health and the slow death of the earth but no one seems to take responsibility.
The project aims to reformulate a new relationship between humanity and the spaces in which it lives, stimulating long-term thinking.
The challenges it aims to solve are different, starting with making its contribution to solving the problem of climate change and stimulating the use of renewable energy sources that respect the environment.
A further challenge is to combat poverty, proposing a solution that until now was only accessible in certain environments, even in the poorest areas of the world.
Undoubtedly, as we have already highlighted, it improves the quality of life and well-being of people, preventing diseases but also acting on people's good mood, immersing them in greenery and making them appreciate nature.
The project also has an educational purpose, in training young people to a conscious use of energy, making them aware of a real problem, which can be controlled and solved through simple measures.
Finally, the use of renewable sources contributes to the management of energy sources that are one of the great challenges of the twenty-first century
