  • Description of the concept
Green Cash consists of a mobile application that allows obtaining cashback from purchases made in supermarkets by returning the waste (packaging) of these purchases at eco points scattered in supermarkets, parks, subways, etc.

The user makes a purchase at a partner supermarket and then sends the invoice identification code to the Green Cash application. The system identifies the supermarket in which the purchase was made and all the products purchased, separating which ones can be or not be recycled. At this point, eligible products are in a pending state, until the consumer delivers the packages.

In the eco points, a machine identifies the user through a QR Code reader. It will also be possible to enter the identification number, which is unique. Once the identification is made, the system displays all pending products on the screen. Then, the person scans the packages, and they are shown on the machine's screen, with the information of which trash should be placed, thus making the proper separation of them directly at the collection source.

After the residue returns, the referent value in money will be shown on the screen. The cashback value is calculated according to the total value of the products that can be recycled.

Cashback is then automatically assigned to the user's digital account. The money is paid by the supermarket where the products were purchased and can be used in future purchases at partner supermarkets or converted into benefits of other services from partner companies. This money can also be transferred to other banks.

Cashback is a powerful marketing tool that offers numerous benefits to companies that use it, such as consumer satisfaction, customer loyalty, acquisition of new customers, increase in the average ticket, and increase in the recurrence of purchases.
    Waste management
    Recycling
    Environmental sustainability
    Economic incentive
    Social engagement
Green Cash's key objective is to promote sustainability through the return of waste (packaging) from purchases made in supermarkets. The concept meets this objective by providing an incentive for users to recycle their waste in the form of cashback. The cashback is calculated based on the total value of recyclable products and is paid for by the partner supermarket where the products were purchased.

By encouraging the proper separation of waste at the collection source, Green Cash reduces the amount of waste that ends up in landfills, reducing the impact on the environment. Additionally, by offering information on the benefits of recycling, such as the amount of waste already recycled and the amount of CO2 not emitted, Green Cash aims to educate and motivate users to continue their eco-friendly behavior.

Furthermore, Green Cash also offers free articles and reports about the environment, renewable energy, and other relevant topics on its website, further emphasizing its role as an environmental educator.

In summary, Green Cash's innovative approach to sustainability by combining technology, incentives, and education makes it an exemplary model for promoting environmental responsibility.
The company aims to provide a positive experience for users through good design, positive emotions, and cultural benefits. The mobile application has been designed with ease of use in mind, allowing users to easily send their purchase invoices and access information on their pending recyclables.

Green Cash's approach not only promotes sustainability but also gives users the satisfaction of contributing to the well-being of the world. By returning waste and participating in the recycling process, users can feel a sense of personal accomplishment and fulfillment in making a positive impact on the environment. The information displayed on the app, such as the benefits of recycling and the amount of waste already recycled, further reinforces this positive feeling by showcasing the direct impact of their actions.

The website also plays a role in enhancing the user experience, offering free articles and reports on environmental issues and promoting environmental education. By providing informative and educational content, Green Cash aims to not only educate users but also encourage them to take an active role in promoting sustainability.

In conclusion, Green Cash's combination of design, positive emotions, and cultural benefits make it an exemplary model for promoting sustainability while providing a positive user experience. The concept demonstrates that it is possible to promote environmental responsibility while also enhancing people's lives through technology.
Our goal is to create an inclusive and accessible platform for waste recycling. The platform aims to educate and inform users on how to recycle their waste correctly, including information on which products can and cannot be recycled. This education will be provided in simple and intuitive language, ensuring that all users, regardless of their level of education or understanding, can participate in the recycling process.

In terms of affordability, the platform offers a cashback program for users who recycle their waste. This incentivizes users to recycle and provides them with an additional benefit for their efforts. The cashback can be used for future purchases at partner supermarkets, providing users with a discount on their expenses. This program makes recycling accessible and affordable for all users, regardless of their income level.

Green Cash also aims to promote inclusive governing systems by working with partner supermarkets and companies to increase waste recycling. The platform acts as a showcase for brands, providing them with another platform to expose their products and reach new customers. This cooperation between the private sector and the population creates a more inclusive system, where all parties work together to achieve a common goal.

The platform is also designed with the "design for all" principle in mind. The education provided on the platform is accessible to all users, regardless of their ability. The platform is user-friendly and easy to navigate, ensuring that everyone can participate in the recycling process.
Citizens are the primary beneficiaries of the concept, as they can earn cashback rewards for their efforts in recycling waste and contributing to a cleaner environment. The app makes it easy for them to recycle their waste by providing information about which products can and cannot be recycled, and instructing them on the correct cleaning and separation procedures. The cashback rewards incentivize citizens to continue their recycling efforts, making the process more sustainable and impactful.

Civil society is also a key player in Green Cash's success. Partnering with local supermarkets and other services, Green Cash helps to raise awareness about the importance of waste reduction and recycling, encouraging individuals and businesses alike to take action. This cooperation between Green Cash and its partners helps to drive positive change in communities and the environment, while also providing businesses with new marketing opportunities and exposure to a wider audience.

The involvement of citizens and civil society in the concept has a significant impact on the success of Green Cash. By incentivizing and educating individuals on the importance of waste reduction and recycling, the concept helps to create a more sustainable future for everyone. The integration of cashback rewards and partnerships with local businesses helps to make the process accessible and affordable, while also creating new opportunities for companies to expand their reach and grow.

By encouraging individuals and businesses to work together towards a cleaner and more sustainable future, we believe that the company has the potential to make a real difference in communities around the world.
Starting at the local level, they reached out to residents and small business owners to understand their needs and perspectives on waste management and recycling. By involving the local community, Green Cash was able to create a solution that met their specific needs and addressed their pain points.

At the regional level, Green Cash engaged with local authorities and waste management organizations to understand the regulations and infrastructure for waste management. This helped them ensure their solution was compliant with regulations and could be effectively integrated into existing systems. The added value of this engagement was a better understanding of the waste management landscape and the ability to create a more efficient solution.

At the national level, Green Cash engaged with environmental organizations, advocacy groups, and governmental agencies to raise awareness about the importance of waste management and recycling. This engagement helped increase public awareness about the issue and build support for the concept.

Finally, at the European level, Green Cash engaged with European Union institutions and international organizations to understand their policies and initiatives related to waste management and recycling. This engagement helped the company align its solution with the larger European context and tap into the resources and expertise of these organizations.

Overall, the engagement of different stakeholders at various levels helped Green Cash create a solution that addresses the issue of waste management and recycling in a comprehensive and effective manner. The added value of this engagement was a better understanding of the issue and the ability to create a solution that meets the needs of different communities and stakeholders.
Various disciplines and knowledge fields were reflected, including environmental science, waste management, marketing and advertising, information technology, and finance. Representatives from these fields worked together to create a comprehensive solution for waste management and recycling.

The environmental science discipline ensured that the platform's waste collection and recycling processes were in line with current environmental standards and regulations, while the waste management contributed to the design of the platform's logistics and waste processing systems.

The information technology discipline worked on the development of the mobile application and the integration of the platform with partner supermarkets, while the finance field was responsible for the creation of the cashback program and the integration of the platform with financial services, such as the conversion of cashback into other benefits.

The collaboration between the different fields resulted in a comprehensive and integrated solution, which not only addressed the problem of waste management and recycling but also provided a valuable service to the users, who were able to receive cashback for their efforts to recycle. This interdisciplinary approach added value to the platform by ensuring that it was both environmentally responsible and attractive to users.
Green Cash is a highly innovative concept in the field of waste recycling. It differs from mainstream actions in several ways:

    - Convenient and Innovative Process: Green Cash has made the waste recycling process easier and more convenient for users. It has implemented a system where users can simply send their grocery bills and receive information on which products can and cannot be recycled. This is a unique process, as no other platform has been doing this until now.

    - Intuitive Instructions: Green Cash provides its users with simple and intuitive instructions on how to clean packaging, separate waste and take other necessary precautions. This is important because improper cleaning can render the recycling process unfeasible.

    - Cashback: Green Cash offers a cashback system that can be used for future purchases at partner supermarkets, which guarantees a discount on expenses. The cashback can also be converted into benefits in other services, adding even more value to the user.

    - Partnership with Supermarkets: Green Cash is beneficial for partner stores, as they are making an investment in marketing by partnering with Green Cash. This exposure of their products at one more point of sale generates views and increases the customer base and sales.

    - Collection of a Wide Variety of Waste: Unlike other companies and programs, Green Cash collects waste that has no commercial value, ensuring that a greater amount and variety of packaging is disposed of correctly. This is a huge benefit for the environment.

    - Coalition Program for Partner Services: Green Cash provides partner services with another platform to expose their products and win new customers in the Green Cash coalition program.

All these factors make Green Cash an innovative and highly differentiated concept in the field of waste recycling.
Green Cash has the potential to be replicated or transferred to other places, groups of beneficiaries, and contexts due to its innovative approach to waste management and recycling.

The process of cleaning, separating, and properly disposing of waste, which is crucial to the success of the recycling process, is also simplified and made more intuitive for users through the platform's instructional materials. This combination of technology and education makes the concept accessible and affordable for all.

In terms of replication, the concept could be applied to other areas where waste management and recycling are a concern, and the rewards system could be adapted to suit the specific needs of each location. The methodology and technology used in Green Cash could also be transferred to other initiatives to improve their efficiency and impact.

Overall, the innovative character of Green Cash and its potential for replication and transfer makes it a valuable tool for addressing waste management and promoting sustainability and could serve as an example for similar initiatives in other places, groups, and contexts.
By addressing the issue of waste management on a local level, Green Cash addresses the global challenge of environmental degradation caused by waste. The platform provides a solution that engages individuals, companies, and governments to work together toward reducing waste and increasing recycling efforts, which ultimately contributes to a healthier environment and a more sustainable future.

The innovative character of Green Cash, which includes the use of technology to inform users about recyclable products, cashback incentives, and a coalition program for partner exposure, sets it apart from mainstream waste management initiatives. These unique features make the concept replicable and transferable to other contexts and communities, allowing for the addressing of the global challenge of waste management on a wider scale.
