The project for the headquarters of a pharmaceutical company in the south of Madrid is located in one of the great Technological Parks mark out a dispersed territory, characterized by the large infrastructures that run through it. Between the M50 orbital motorway and the Arroyo Culebro linear park, Tecnogetafe stands as an incipient technological cluster whose buildings are visible from the important junction that joins the M50 with the R4 motorway to the east.

In-ruins is a no-profit organisation founded in Calabria, Italy, in 2018. Via residencies, talks and publications we explore the critical potential of the relation between contemporary art and archaeology. The project rethinks the territory via its past, transforms ancient ruins in places for encounter and activates cultural economies thanks to the contributions of artists and researchers. Exploring myths and traditions In-ruins valorises cultural heritage and the very communities that guard it.

It’s located in Leon city, in a historical building. Its members share partnership with more than five hundred people all over Spain and abroad.

“A LSD trip, without LSD”. A once forgotten and shady passage, transformed into an explosion of colour, patterns, light and sound. A passage once used as hangout area for drugs and public toilet, has instead become a place and experience for all. This passage is an example of how giving value to a space, will cause people to respect it and use it accordingly. Contributing to everyday joy, this passage provides the passer-by an happy experience: a LSD trip without any negative side effects.

Immersive installations, participatory performances, soundwalks, workshops and a digital platform invite us to reconnect with our individual and collective bodies, and to enter into conversation with GAIA, the living planet we are part of. The project explores how we can relate in more caring ways to ourselves and the biosphere through direct sensory experience, reconnecting us with nature through sensing and feeling.
