    Vivid - a curtain that traces time

    Vivid is a monochrome curtain made of naturally and synthetically dyed yarn. When the textiles are exposed to sunlight, the natural colors fade while the stable synthetic colors retain their hues, gently revealing an intricate pattern. The shifting color has the poetic power of tracing time and strengthens the emotional relationship people experience with their belongings: incorporating change and encouraging longevity.

    Fendi Factory

    A raised garden conceived to mend a long-standing rift in the terrain and recreate the hillside of the site in which it's located. This is what the new Fendi Factory in Bagno a Ripoli looks like. The concept aims to define the conditions for a renewed visual collaboration between architecture and environment: from the green roof to the courtyards the idea was to transform the entire site into a new and extended garden also with the purpose of improving the quality of the working spaces.

    Enying Green Revival

    Sustainable development of Enying city's historical green centre

    „Enying Green City” is a special example of sustainable urban development, since our studios were leading the whole process from creating a strategy, building a participatory based planning process till the end of the construction and supporting the re-connection of locals with the renewed sites. We finished the set of small scale wooden installations in 2022 by two pro bono pieces to help the local community after recent years’ high inflation hindering the completion of the original project.

    Renovating historic workers’ villas keeping in place their resident population

    Dealing with a housing crisis, the Lisbon City Council does not give up fulfilling a right of the Portuguese constitution: the right to housing. Sometimes located in neighbourhoods highly demanded by the market, several workers’ villas form a bubble where time and the effects of urbanisation stopped being in a fast decay process. To renovate these, the housing and construction departments unite efforts guaranteeing that the residents (a vulnerable population) stay in place during the works.

    "Trees to the Skies" is a land art project that transforms an urban forest into a place of wonder and hope. Many mature ash, birch, and maple trees are wrapped from the base to the fork in colorful fabric and become giant wishing trees. Visitors are invited to hug the colorful trees, make a wish, and wander around the magical art trail to explore the forest and reconnect with nature.
