"How to: gerecht gestalten?!"
"How to: design justice?!" - workshop and platform for justice in design
Germany
The goal of the project is to raise awareness for justice in design and to anchor it in the design discipline, as well as to initiate a discourse between designers and society. In workshops, designers develop tools to face social challenges and shape the future. "How to: gerecht gestalten?!" adds a social component to aesthetics: What is inclusive is beautiful because it creates a sense of belonging. The participatory workshops will be further established and a regional platform will be created.

A CHAIR FOR TWO
Slovenia
The form was inspired by the work of Slovenian architect Jože Plečnik, who is very rich in spatial ideas, meanings and visual expressions. It helped me give the shape to my idea.
The intention was not to make a simple cardboard piece, but also a small social space. So I made a chair that can be sat only in pairs, in balance between the two, to provoke play and social interactions - things so neglected these days.

Architecture goes into reverse
Architecture goes into reverse. Tips for (self)building responsible living
Italy
The challenge is to create a project that had no economic impact and doesn’t exploit new resources through the use of recycled materials. The first step is to build a database of waste and excess material from some companies close to the project site. Those materials are the fulcrum around which to develop architectural solutions giving them new life. This database can be use by those who would undertake the same design process. This system could be replicated for any other project and territory

ULTRA Continuous Florence
Urban regeneration and ecological continuity throughout two complex landscape systems.
Italy
The idea stems from the desire to link the urban project with the city project in a single multi-scale vision, working on morphology and landscape: it consists in the definition of a methodological approach that can reread urban and rural sub-areas dialoguing with the existing. The potential is the possibility of acquiring a structuring role for urban regeneration by generating common goods at the service of the city.
