    Football as Infrastructure for Democracy

    F.I.D. manifested within the boundaries of a participatory architectural installation and the fair play rules of sports. It featured a multi-functional scaffolding and a mini-soccer field made out of natural grass. During its existence it hosted planned events or spontaneous activities and a football tournament that featured 16 teams of gender mixed amateur players of all ages, from the neighborhood.     BRIC, 80% recycled material

    BRIC is a new recycling process that transforms earthenware waste into a 75% recycled composite material. At the end of the transformation process, unsold tableware from recycling centers and solidarity organizations becomes a recycled material, as strong as concrete, allowing the creation of objects, furniture and surfaces. The BRIC process is the lever for new models of circular economy and partnerships on a local scale.

    DumBO - Shared Creative Regeneration

    DumBO is is a financially self-sustaining temporary redevelopment of an abandoned railway yard. The project was initiated by a participatory process managed by Fondazione per l’innovazione Urbana that involved the neighbourhood. DumBO provides affordable space for students and CCIs, and encourages interactions between social organisations, entrepreneurs and the neighbours. The project includes a food court with a social bistro, a social grocery store, event spaces, urban sport halls for adults.

    Bathing culture is part of the human history in every waterfront city. A public beach is a very special type of public space which must offer rest and moderate physical activity for everyone. Area concept "You are here!" notes the location in a high-quality environment, with plenty of activity, providing good rest and well-being. The design language is a hybrid of old boat fore and its opposite from round line. Combined with the triangle, the circle creates a familiar location marker on maps.
