This partially covered space will allow the organization of creative, cultural, sports or festive activities. It will be reserved for pedestrians and cyclists in order to improve the local soft mobility network. The Quai de l'Industrie will be developed into a meeting area.

From a contemporary point of view, new uses are encouraged to conserve and enjoy its nature and heritage, preventing its deterioration and highlighting its value.     In 2018, the Métropole Rouen Normandie (local authority) has renewed the Saint-Sever street, witch is a commercial axis and the heart of the district Saint-Sever, part of the city center of Rouen, on the left bank of the Seine river. It is an old suburb, popular and formerly industrial. The public spaces works allowed to enhance the mobility of people with disabilities and the place of nature in the district. A particular attention has been paid on women place in public space.

    HERITAGE, ETHNOGRAPHIC AND LANDSCAPE RECOVERY OF THE SAN XUSTO BATHS.

    The fundamental objective of the project is the recovery of a fluvial environment of great beauty and the enhancement of medicinal mining waters. With the intervention the patrimonial elements are recovered (the space of the old bath and the power plant that were in ruins) and ethnographic (4 mills and some annexed buildings), of the environment, clarifying the routes and recovering that fluvial landscape that was colonized by invasive and abandoned species.

In 2011 there was a rumor that the vacant lot would give way to yet another social neighborhood; the population, disagreeing, presented a community project together with the political decision-makers, with the objective of creating a botanical park (PBVD) and thus breaking the pejorative image of VD and inhibiting the adoption of behaviors.
