    Altofest

Altofest_International Contemporary Live Arts_The Hovering City

    Italy , Malta
Altofest is a human-specific experimental sociality project shaped as a Performing Art Festival. It was born in 2011 "to give rise to" a large, heterogeneous and international community based on the “poetic citizenship” principle. It calls to dialogue all the social components of the human-urban fabric in which it is grafted. It acts as a semantic interference in everyday life, allowing inhabitants to speak to each other in a neutral language and meet in a shared risk space, daring together.

Network of public spaces for all

Network of public spaces for all generations at the central metro stations in Warsaw.

    Poland
A group of architects, sports enthusiasts and social researchers delivered a network of public spaces friendly to all generations of users at the Warsaw's transport hubs. The inclusive, bottom-up process took over a decade, but the result transformed the culture of physical activity in Warsaw and beyond. The network clearly demonstrates the impact of inclusive design and the importance of improving usually neglected spaces around transport hubs, populated by millions of pedestrians every month.

The old buildings, mostly suitable for demolition, were rebuilt and supplemented with wooden cottages in the woods in such a way that no tree was cut down.

    NATURE DESIGN CAMP

NATURE DESIGN CAMP - BUILDING NEW RELATIONS WITH NATURE BY DESIGN METHODS AND ARTISTIC PRACTICE

    Austria
Dear fellow earthlings, I am going to share a story, my story, your story, our story. A story about pollution, global warming, overpopulation, waste, ocean acidification, loss of biodiversity, deforestation, ozone layer depletion, and pandemics. And I probably could go on with this forever but, what can be radically proposed to you instead, is the need for new relations, a restored relationship with nature.

Amarar. From the tree to the furniture

Amarar is a manufacturing company of furniture.

    Spain
Mallorca has a forest mass area of 42% of its territory. This forest mass corresponds to the Mediterranean forest and currently 95% of the surface of the forest mass is abandoned. Amarar wants to take care of the forests, for this he proposes a model that goes from one "Cut down and burn" to a new one based on "Cut down, manufacture, build, reuse and recycle", corresponding to a circular economy. For this, the industrial network is recovered to be able to go from “tree to furniture”.
