    Recovering the traditions of craftmanship across North Macedonia, such as sewing, embroidery, wood carving, watchmaking, repairing shoes, pottery and more. Most of these artisan crafts skills are dying and fewer and fewer people decide to continue the tradition of making these kinds of products. The project aims to spark an interest in young people to continue the traditional ways of crafting, which might help them in finding a part of themselves in it and even potential career orientation.

    The lack of access to open spaces for makers in Valencia, moved the design cooperative Makea to install EPPPS in a disused industrial building inside the green agricultural belt of the city. EPPPS is an urban regeneration strategy articulated around a workspace for circular and sustainable design, that brings access to digital and conventional manufacturing technologies. With a learning-by-doing approach, it encourages the active participation of people in shaping the world around them.

    I have initiated the admission of children with special needs in Public Music Schools in Sarajevo. Before that, never in the history of their existence (the schools) over 75 years, children with special needs couldn't attend any sort of formal music education, no matter how talented and great they were. Doing that for my own son I have spent more than 6 months to accomplish that task. I had to convince the Ministry of Education, had meetings with all the directors from all Music Schools, etc.

Scholars and locals who suffer with mental health difficulties collectively constructed Zona Santiago, becoming, not only a school playground, but also a communal space for Cabanyal’s neighbourhood.
