    The " First Wave - Surfing in Curricular Activities" project provides initiation to the sports modality of surfing, as well as training sessions about the Ocean in environmental and safety aspects, involving about 500 first cycle students from Torres Vedras coastal schools. Through lessons and awareness-raising activities, the project is operational since 2019, on various beaches that have the necessary conditions for the initiation of surfing.

By interpreting the notion of a common future–as a distinctly human capacity–this open-end collaborative endeavor in public space constitutes a new sense of belonging among marginalized children of the urban periphery in Belgrade, Serbia. Remaining in the making, our initiative is a persistent self-revealing path to who we are.

Giufà is a character of folk stories found in many countries that are washed by this sea: for us it is a symbol of the one who travels to seek freedom, with nothing in his pocket but his stories to tell.

    Project aims to encourage exchange of knowledge between generations, that will give the young a bit of the knowledge of the elderly, and to the elderly greater skills, particularly digital skills. Our goal is to combat digital and social isolation. On one side we have young people who isolate themselves, living a virtual life, and on the other side we have the elderly, socially isolated and lonely. We want to find balance between the use of new education technologies and lifelong learning.
